Student Painters began in 1981 in Toronto. Between its inception and 1999 the company grew to become a nation wide organization with seven regional divisions grossing a total of over $10,000,000 per summer. In the spring of 2000 the Northwest Division became independently owned and operated by Dwayne and Jessica Bishop; UW graduates and long time veterans of the program. Since acquiring local ownership the Northwest operations have grown over 50% to $1,000,000 in the summer of 2001.
Our vision of Student Painters is founded on the belief that the universities hold a unique resource; a small pool of future business and community leaders that are ready to do great things if only they can be provided with the skills and knowledge necessary to do so. Your Student Manager has been carefully selected for responsibility, drive, and passion for business from a pool of thousands of interested students. Their challenge is to utilize the Student Painters system that has been developed over the last 20 years and implemented by hundreds of students, to develop their exclusive Branch into a successful, professional business over the course of their summer break.
In order to assist your Student Manager in achieving his/her goals of providing a professional, high-quality, service orientated paint job Student Painters provides full training and support on all the skills and knowledge necessary to run a painting business. We also provide all of the infrastructure and administrative help to comply with all safety and liability regulations. In order to limit the risks to the student they are not franchise owners, they are direct representatives of StudentPainters.net and have our full backing and support. Due to this arrangement you also have the comfort of having your home painted by a well-established company while at the same time helping a group of hard working students earn money for their schooling.
